HISTORY

PAPALITSAS

My Story

My practice is based in Nea Erythraia and constitutes a modern and welcoming space for psychological support, designed to offer every person the opportunity to freely express their thoughts, feelings and difficulties.

Psychotherapy session

I deeply believe that psychological support is not a luxury, but a right. It is not only addressed to people facing psychological difficulties, but also to those who wish to know themselves better, strengthen their relationships or manage their daily challenges more effectively.

My philosophy is based on a personalized approach. Every person carries a unique story; different experiences, rhythms, needs and goals. The therapeutic process adapts to these particularities, creating a safe and supportive framework within which a meaningful therapeutic dialogue can develop.

As a child psychotherapist, a large part of my work focuses on supporting children and adolescents. Childhood and adolescence are periods of rapid development, but also of intense psychosocial challenges1.

  • Anxiety and behavioral difficulties
  • Learning difficulties and self-esteem issues
  • Social insecurities and family changes
  • Emotional difficulty management

The therapeutic process for these ages is based on methods appropriate for their developmental stage, with emphasis on play, creative expression and cooperation with the family environment.

I place particular emphasis on cooperation with the family and school environment when this is necessary, as often the difficulties of a child or adolescent are connected to the broader system to which they belong.

Through meetings with parents and educators, I aim to create a coherent and supportive network around the child, strengthening the conditions that favor their psychosocial-emotional development.

In parallel, I provide psychological support to adults experiencing difficulties in various areas of their lives:

  • Emotional issues - Management of emotions and psychological states
  • Anxious states - Management of anxiety and stress
  • Change management - Adaptation to new life conditions
  • Identity crises - Self-awareness and personal growth
  • Relationship difficulties - Interpersonal difficulties and communication
  • Grief and traumatic experiences - Processing difficult experiences

My therapeutic stance is characterized by respect, empathy and confidentiality. I consider fundamental the cultivation of a relationship of trust between therapist and client, as this relationship forms the basis of every meaningful change.

"My goal is not to give ready-made solutions, but to stand by each client, strengthening their own mechanisms of understanding, resilience and change."

I seek to create an environment where the person feels accepted without judgment, capable of expressing themselves authentically and exploring freely the issues that concern them.

The location in Nea Erythraia was chosen to offer easy access and a pleasant environment, elements that enhance the therapeutic experience. The space has been designed in a way that promotes warmth and functionality, both for adults and children.

In my space, particular importance is given to the quality of the client's experience. From the very first meeting, the goal is to form a framework that will enhance the feeling of safety, respect and cooperation.

My goal is the empowerment of people — to feel that they have a voice, choices and the power to shape a life closer to their desires and values. Psychotherapy is not only a problem-solving process; it is also a deep experience of self-awareness, growth and connection.

I treat each client with respect and uniqueness, firmly believing that mental health is an essential part of human life — equally important as physical health. For those who feel the need to seek support, to know themselves in depth or to manage difficult situations, the door of therapy is always open.
